1980年代，從台灣的南部開始，
台灣優米傳承了三代，賣了四十年的米。
我們深知米在亞洲文化中，是日常飲食的基礎，被視為主要糧食，
也是家庭聚會、慶典或傳統儀式中重要的共享食物，透過分享，聯繫彼此的情感與關係。
更同時，透過種植與收穫的過程，米也是農業生產和穩定經濟的表現。
因此對台灣優米而言，米已經不僅是食物的供應，是一種連結關係，是對關係者的責任和承諾。
