Tuna Rice ball
INGREDIENTS
- Taiwan Rice: 1 cup (cooked and prepared)
- Canned Tuna: 1 can (can be oil-packed or water-packed)
- Mayonnaise: 2 tablespoons
- Salt: a pinch
- Nori (seaweed): 1-2 sheets (optional)
- Chopped Green Onions: to taste (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS ✅
- Prepare the Filling:
- Drain the canned tuna and mix it with mayonnaise. Add a pinch of salt to taste.
- If desired, you can also add chopped green onions for extra flavor.
- Shape the Rice Balls:
- With wet hands, take a portion of the cooked Taiwan rice and press it flat in your palm.
- Place the tuna filling in the center of the rice, then wrap the rice around the filling and shape it into a ball.
- If using nori, you can wrap the rice ball with a piece of nori for added flavor.
- Enjoy:
- Serve immediately, optionally with soy sauce or any other preferred condiments!
