Sushi roll

Good sushi requires good rice to enhance the overall taste and texture. Today, let’s see how to make sushi roll using Taiwan rice!

INGREDIENTS

  1. Taiwan Rice: 1 cup (cooked and prepared)
  2. Nori (seaweed):2 sheets
  3. Fillings (choose any combination):
    • Sliced salmon
    • Imitation crab (surimi)
    • Cucumber sticks
    • Avocado slices
    • Carrot sticks

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Prepare the Nori:
    Place a sheet of nori, shiny side down, on a bamboo sushi mat.
  2. Assemble:
    With wet hands, take a portion of sushi rice and spread it evenly over the nori, leaving about 1 inch of space at the top.
    Place your chosen fillings in the center of the rice.
  3. Roll the Sushi:
    Starting from the bottom, roll the nori over the fillings, using the mat to help shape it. Roll tightly and seal the edge with a bit of water.
  4. Slice:
    Use a sharp knife to cut the sushi roll into even pieces, then enjoy!
